Tarragona is a coastal municipality in Davao Oriental, Philippines, situated along the eastern seaboard of Mindanao. Established on June 18, 1966, through Republic Act No. 4755, it was later amended by Republic Act No. 5925 on June 21, 1969, which adjusted its boundaries and added the barangay of Dadong from Manay.

Area: Approximately 300.76 km², constituting about 5.30% of Davao Oriental’s total area .
Population: As of the 2020 Census, Tarragona has a population of 26,996, with a population density of approximately 90 people/km².
Barangays: The municipality is politically subdivided into 10 barangays: Cabagayan, Central (Poblacion), Dadong, Jovellar, Limot, Lucatan, Maganda, Ompao, Tomoaong, and Tubaon .

Department of Agrarian Reform. It is the lead government agency responsible for implementing comprehensive agrarian reform, which includes equitable land distribution, ownership, agricultural productivity, and tenurial security for farmers. DAR's main goal is to improve the quality of life for tillers of the land through these measures.
