San Isidro is a 4th-class municipality in Davao Oriental, Philippines. Established on June 18, 1966, it officially began operations in January 1968. The town was founded by Vicente Yu, Sr., who became its first mayor .
Geography & Population
Area: Approximately 220.44 km² (85.11 sq mi), constituting about 3.88% of Davao Oriental’s total area .
Population: As of the 2020 Census, San Isidro has a population of 33,664, with a population density of approximately 153 people/km² .
Barangays: The municipality is politically subdivided into 16 barangays, seven of which are along the coastlines, while the remaining nine are in the interior areas.

Department of Agrarian Reform. It is the lead government agency responsible for implementing comprehensive agrarian reform, which includes equitable land distribution, ownership, agricultural productivity, and tenurial security for farmers. DAR's main goal is to improve the quality of life for tillers of the land through these measures.
