Governor Generoso—often called Gov Gen—is a 2nd-class municipality in Davao Oriental, Philippines. Located at Mindanao’s southeastern tip, it was formerly known as Sigaboy, renamed in 1948 to honor Sebastian T. Generoso, a three-term governor of undivided Davao.
