The Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA) evaluates the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project’s potential environmental and social risks and impacts as well as the management options/measures that can be adopted to avoid/mitigate the negative and enhance the positive impacts.

Department of Agrarian Reform. It is the lead government agency responsible for implementing comprehensive agrarian reform, which includes equitable land distribution, ownership, agricultural productivity, and tenurial security for farmers. DAR's main goal is to improve the quality of life for tillers of the land through these measures.
